One month after the first stage, the project continued in Ulm, southern Germany. During the break, the ideas of the songs had matured in the minds of the students, and in Ulm we started to work on Monday morning. The working days were long, but the result were good.
By the end of the week, the songs were recorded, the vocals most recently. The tracks had to be ready by Friday, when they were presented to the whole school. When the songs were playing, pictures of the authors of the songs and the work process were shown. After each song, the German music producer gave the students feedback.
In our free time, we visited the city of Ulm and, of course, the highest church in the world, Ulm Münster. We also visited the Ulm Museum, which exhibited some of the world’s oldest man-made art objects. As a result of the first and second stages, the students completed 12 new music pieces which were printed on CDs. There are also tutorial videos about song writing and equipment used in this project.
